
Wells book-which no kids would possibly get, and few adults probably would-i found that I had something special and unique on my hands. I was looking forward to reading it to them, but about the time I realized the author had spent a couple dozen pages setting up a stealth joke about an H.G. The kids were so excited to read this that we put a hold on it at the library before it even came out. This one even talks about coding! A solid choice for readers who won't get annoyed by the frequent puns.more

Can the A-team or the B-team crack the case by themselves or do they have to work together? Another fun book, filled with word play, a bit of potty humor, and a cliffhanger ending leaves the reader ready for book 3. After some friendly vest-tapping, the gators get involved in the case again. A wrong move kicks the gators off the case, replaced by the Badgers (the B-team). To top it off, Crackerdile is on the loose, trying to break into the SUIT headquarters. Mango and Brash the alligator detective duo are back to determine why strange things are being combined throughout the city (a plumber and a snake, a scientist and bananas, another scientist and a salad).
